Helping Hands Alaska exists to serve the physical needs of the Pastors and Missionaries in Rural Alaska.

By taking on the load of their buying and shipping, repairing of houses, vehicles, boats, four wheelers and other equipment, we make sure that they can focus on the most important work of all, bringing the hope and light of Jesus Christ to the hard to reach corners of the Arctic.

Our Desire is to help any missionary, mission, or pastor working in unreached, least reached and hard to reach places. If their purpose is to reach people with the gospel and their mission statement and doctrine aligns with ours, we will work with their physical needs and problems to do whatever we can to make their lives and ministry easier, more efficient and less hindering to the goal of new believers, discipleship of existing believers and a mature, healthy New Testament Church.

Since 2005, we have served internationally amongst 52 different language groups in 6 countries. Though we started out in Aviation Maintenance we quickly realized that the airplane wasn’t meeting the daily needs of the missionaries. Though there were all kinds of pilots and mechanics, there was no one at all filling the need for someone to help the missionaries with their daily struggles of power problems, broken vehicles and houses and equipment falling apart. Whether we are installing solar power systems, wiring, plumbing, building or fixing houses; refrigeration, repairing generators, chainsaws, boats, aircraft, vehicles, four wheeler or motorcycles there aren’t too many things we haven’t been able to do to help keep the missionaries teaching and translating the Bible, instead of worry about problems they aren’t able to deal with themselves, either from lack of time or ability.

Now, we are based in Interior Alaska serving rural missionaires and pastors around the state, as well as continuing with our international contacts in an effort to reach the Unreached, Least Reached and Difficult to Reach peoples of the world. With multiple missions organizations needing help with the physical needs of their pastors and missionaries, Helping Hands can fulfill the calling the Lord has placed upon us to travel and work on-site to assist with these physical needs.
